Joshua Iz is a Producer, DJ, Designer, and Writer based in Chicago. He is highly respected in the House community with over 200 productions to his name including the famous “It Iz What It Iz’” on one of his labels, Vizual Records. He plays and records under many pseudonyms including one-half of the legendary underground duo of Iz & Diz. Joshua’s passion for music began at age five with piano. He discovered his love for records and Punk by age ten and performed in a Ska/Reggae/Funk/Punk band in high school inspired by The Specials, The Selector, and Fishbone. His musical journey continues with twenty-four years of rocking dance floors worldwide and residencies at Fabric in London and Bionic in San Francisco. Joshua likes to “play amazing music and make people dance” by organically blending House, Techno, Dub, and Disco.
